Car dismantlers across Scotland, done the right way

Dismantling support for end-of-life vehicles, fleet write-offs and insurance salvage across Scotland. Clear process, clear paperwork, traceable disposal route.

For insurers, fleet managers and councils

If you're disposing of vehicles in volume, write-offs, end-of-lease, fleet decommissions, abandoned-vehicle removals on behalf of a local authority, you need a contractor who can handle the paperwork as cleanly as the metal. We can. Every accepted vehicle follows the agreed treatment route, with disposal notes and DVLA paperwork handled in a way your team can audit.

// The regulated route

The end-of-life process, properly

Every vehicle we take in goes through the same controlled sequence. There's a reason it's regulated.

01
De-pollution
Fuel, oil, brake fluid, coolant, washer fluid, AC refrigerant, all routed correctly. AC gas is heavily regulated, so we confirm capability before accepting.
02
Battery removal
Lead-acid to specialist recyclers. EV high-voltage packs are a different process entirely, see our EV page.
03
Hazardous components
Catalytic converters, airbag modules and seatbelt pretensioners treated as hazardous waste with their own disposal route.
04
Parts recovery
Anything reusable goes into our breakers stock for trade & DIY. See our Glasgow breakers yard.
05
Metal recovery
De-polluted shell goes to a licensed metal recovery facility for shredding and sorting.
06
Documentation
Disposal route confirmed, DVLA steps explained, partner paperwork kept with the job.

Dismantling & ATF, common questions

How is dismantling handled legally?

End-of-life vehicles must go through the authorised treatment route. Where partner paperwork is needed, we confirm that route before collection and keep the disposal trail clear for fleets, insurers and councils.

Do you handle insurance write-offs and salvage auctions?

Yes. We collect Cat S, Cat N and Cat B salvage from insurer auction platforms. Cat A is crush-only and needs a specific destruction route, so we confirm the process before accepting it. For salvage you've already bought at auction, we can arrange recovery to the yard.

Can you do fleet end-of-life work?

Yes. We work with leasing companies, courier fleets, council vehicle pools and a couple of taxi associations. Volume work tends to be easier on everyone: scheduled monthly collections, consolidated paperwork, single invoice. If you've got more than five vehicles, get in touch and we'll work out the right cadence.

How is what you do different to just scrapping?

Scrap is the end. Dismantling is the process between collection and crushing: draining, de-polluting, parts recovery and traceable disposal of hazardous components. The authorised treatment route matters because it keeps the paperwork and waste trail clean.
